As a result of recent internal movement, we are currently looking for a Human Resources Business Partner in the Human Resources department. This role may reside in any of the bases STARS operates out of.
While you may not be flying the helicopter or providing patient care, as a member of STARS’ Human Resources team, you will play an important role in STARS’ life-saving mission. Be part of something bigger. Be part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to leaders on all aspects of human resources management including compensation, benefits, performance management, workforce planning and HR policies and procedures
- Coaching leaders in assigned client groups on critical employee relations issue
- Rolling out new or revised HR programs and initiatives to client groups
- Leading and/or participating on project teams
- Providing advice and support to team members on HR matters
- Conducting investigations of workplace policy violations
- Minimum 7 years’ experience including experience in an HR generalist role
- Post-secondary diploma or degree is an asset
- CPHR designation is considered an asset
- Builds strong relationships at all levels in the organization, taking a service-based approach to all interactions
